The Wagner Reese team is proud to be a sponsor of the Carmel Education Foundation (CEF)’s Ghosts and Goblins race!
On October 26, 2019, the CEF will present the 11th Annual Ghosts and Goblins 5K and 2K run/walk. The event will benefit CEF programs which provide education grants to Carmel Clay Schools. In addition to the grants, the Carmel Education Foundation offers the Lisa Evans Scholarship to Carmel High School seniors who volunteer as event help or run in the race. One scholarship recipient will be chosen from all of the participating seniors.
Participants often run the race in costume — the event even includes a costume contest! The runners with the best costumes will receive prizes, in the categories of best adult costume, best ensemble costumes, best youth costume ages 10-18 years, and best youth costume ages 9 years and under. There are also awards for the schools with the most participants: The winning elementary school will house the Ghosts and Goblins Trophy for a year, and the winning middle school will receive a permanent Ghosts and Goblins Banner. Each runner will be timed and the results of the race will be posted on the Ghosts and Goblins 5K and 2K website. For more information or to register for the event, visit carmelghostrun.com.
Wagner Reese is happy for the opportunity to support the Carmel Education Foundation and all of the students who will benefit from the fundraiser. Thank you to everyone at the CEF, the other sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who is working to present the Ghosts and Goblins race!
