This March, our legal team at Wagner Reese will be participating in a fundraiser to help fill Indiana’s 11 regional food banks, and we would like you to participate, too! Our firm is passionate about helping those in need, and we are excited to participate, once again, in the March Against Hunger fundraiser. Each of our staff members will be participating in this friendly competition to collect more food and funds than any other firm in our area.

March Against Hunger is a virtual fundraiser sponsored by the Indiana State Bar Association and the Office of the Indiana Attorney General. This year will mark the 11th annual fundraiser, which will take place throughout the month of March. During this time, contributors are encouraged to donate non-perishable grocery items and money, both of which will go to the local food banks.

Although the central goal of this fundraiser is to raise money for local food banks, the March Against Hunger is designed to fuel the legal community into a fundraising race. To date, the March Against Hunger has raised more than $407,873 in monetary donations and at least 70,000 pounds of food for the participating shelters. This year, we want to continue using our ample resources to bring food to those in need.

While non-perishable food is always welcome, the foundation encourages monetary donations instead. According to the March Against Hunger seeing as every $1 donated provides nearly 9 times the amount in groceries due to various food reclamation and purchasing programs.

If you are interested in making a donation, you can contact our firm directly at (888) 204-8440. Just be sure to leave our firm’s name in the “donor comments” section!
