Half of the children in Marion County classrooms cannot afford lunch, let alone their school supplies. Every year, Teachers’ Treasures makes school supplies available at little or no cost to more than 2,400 teachers from 250 schools. Last year’s event raised a record-breaking $170,000 to support the thousands of Indianapolis students affected by poverty, and this year the charity golf outing seeks to raise even more.
