June is National Safety Month
Every June, the National Safety Council uses the weeks of the June month to bring awareness to key safety issues in our country. This year, there will be several different topics which the NSC is promoting:
- Week 1: Preventing prescription drug abuse
- Week 2: Avoiding slip, trip and fall injuries
- Week 3: Awareness of our surroundings
- Week 4: Ending distracted driving
There will also be a bonus topic this year, focusing on Summer Safety.
What do these topics mean to you? As personal injury and work injury lawyers, we see people every single day who have suffered or sustained an injury as a result of one of these topics. We assist people who have fallen on the job and are now dealing with back, neck or extremity injuries. We also assist people who have lost their loved ones on the job. We have experience in helping those who have been injured by their doctors and medical personnel as a result of prescription overdoses and bad drug mixes. We regularly see people who were injured in car accidents, or who were injured by the negligence of other people. We also assist those who are injured in “summer” accidents: trampoline injuries, swimming pool accidents, etc.
For us, raising awareness about these issues means helping you avoid injury. We fully support the National Safety Council, and know that if their campaign saves even one life, it will be worth it. Help us raise awareness for these new issues each week by sharing the materials provided by the National Safety Council, and sharing our blog posts with your friends and family.
Remember, we are here to help you if you do become injured, but we want to help you avoid your injuries to begin with! Give us a call at (888) 204-8440 if you need our assistance in any way.
