Megabus Accident on I-65 Near Seymour and Columbus Indiana

Update: 26 injured Megabus passengers were taken to Schneck Medical Center in Seymour for treatment, Indiana State Trooper Tommy Walker states that a combination of speed and wintry weather may have caused the bus crash.

Early morning icy roads may have contributed to a Megabus accident on I-65 near Seymour and Columbus Indiana. The Megabus reportly lost control and tipped over at around 5:30am. The bus was travelling from Chicago to Atlanta.

Fox59 reports that several injuries occurred, but police say that injuries are minor. Ambulances appeared on the scene. All lanes of I-65 northbound were closed for about three hours while road crews cleaned up the accident scene.
