NHTSA Creates New Distracted Driving Ad Campaign

In honor of Distracted Driving Awareness Month, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has just released a new ad, targeting teenagers and young adults who make a habit of cell phone usage while driving.

The ad cost a whopping $8.5 million to produce, but the results may be worth that cost. The ad depicts three teens on a drive together, laughing and talking and clearly enjoying themselves. When the driver pauses to answer a text message, the ad takes a dark turn.
