Doctors Suspended For Unsafe Drug Practices
Two Indiana doctors are facing suspension of their medical licenses because of unsafe medical prescription practices.
Dr. William Hedrick of Fort Wayne, Indiana is facing a license suspension because the Indiana Attorney General’s Office has found that multiple people have died while under his care, due to multiple drug toxicity. His prescribing habits are unsafe and not founded on sound medical practices.
Dr. Lea Marlow of Jeffersonville, Indiana is the second doctor facing suspension by the Attorney General. Marlow is employed at the Clark County Wellness Center, where is has been found out that 95% of her patients have been prescribed Oxycodone, and are receiving it at discounted prices.
There are likely to be malpractice cases against the doctors, neither of whom have commented on the situation.
